Syllabus
We follow the National Curriculum in most subjects, with the addition of French from Year 1 and our pupils take the Key Stage 2 SATS. Taking part in SATS is optional for independent schools so we do not enter children for the Key Stage 1 tests as we find that these tend to disadvantage the summer born child.
We prepare children for entry to their secondary education and have an excellent record of getting children into the schools of their choice plus a very satisfactory level of scholarships and bursaries. Children leaving us to go into comprehensive schools find that they have been given a good start.
